Dr Noor Shaheen

Profile

Dr. Shaheen obtained her MBBS degree in 2008 and has since established a vibrant and people-focused medical career shaped by experiences across continents and cultures. Having practiced across Malaysia, Borneo, and Australia, and undertaken clinical observer ships in the United Kingdom, her professional journey reflects a dynamic and meaningful commitment to patient care across borders. These experiences have shaped her into a clinician who is adaptable, culturally attuned, and genuinely comfortable connecting with people from all walks of life.

With special interests in ENT, chronic disease management, pediatrics, mental health, and preventive health medicine, she is passionate about helping patients feel heard, understood, and empowered. These interests have naturally led her to pursue further training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), reflecting her commitment to comprehensive, community-based, and continuity-focused care. Known for her warm, approachable style, she believes good healthcare starts with good conversations—taking time to listen, explain, and work together toward long-term wellbeing. She places strong emphasis on prevention, early intervention, and caring for both mind and body.

Fluent in English, Malay, and Tamil, she enjoys bridging language and cultural gaps, making healthcare feel less intimidating and more personal.

Beyond the clinic, she brings the same energy and curiosity to life that she does to medicine. She loves cooking, playing musical instruments, travelling, and escaping into a great novel. These passions keep her grounded and joyful, adding an extra layer of warmth, creativity, and humanity to the care she provides every day.
